Cottenham road - Histon

Project Overview:
This project involved the construction of a 

single-story extension to an existing residential property in Histon, Cambridge. 

The homeowners, avid bakers, desired a spacious, modern kitchen to accommodate their passion for baking and a wheelchair-accessible space that would seamlessly blend with the existing home. 

The extension included an open-plan kitchen, a 

utility room, a new patio area, and thoughtful design considerations for wheelchair 

access, ensuring both comfort and accessibility for all family members.

The project focused on maximising the kitchen’s functionality for the homeowner’s baking needs while maintaining a stylish and cohesive design.

The patio area and wheelchair access were also key elements to ensure the space was both usable and welcoming to all visitors.
